A Pact Between Huntsmen

Tracking the crims back to their nest (a term far more fitting than base for these vermin ) took the squad about 36 hours.  This was due mostly to trying to remain undiscovered and not so much to the intelligence of their prey.  The bandits had made the remnants of an old wrecked freighter their home, if you could call it that.  Somehow they had managed to get one of the wreck's generators working and providing them power even.

A scream shattered the night air. These animals were working their sadistic pleasures out on some poor creature.  It was difficult to be certain but Maligaant believed it was one of the children they'd been unable to account for.

He rested his elbows on a fallen tree as he examined the perimeter of their holdout. These crims had actually chosen a halfway decent location.  There was only one way in and out which meant they could easily defend it from other gangs.  It also meant that they couldn't escape, if attacked by a greater force, such as a fully trained squad of Triumvirate Draigons!

He turned his attention back to his squad as he sat back down behind the fallen tree. When he'd selected only Togorians for this hunt he'd had no idea what they would face.  Perhaps it was a sign from the universe ... "These vermin deserve no trial" he snarled, "They're vermin! And they deserve to die like vermin!"

Looking into the eyes of his Togorian brothers he saw nothing but acceptance and agreement.  Kael moved forward,  "Let them meet Togorian justice then." he said, extending his claws, "we will rip them apart and tear the skin from their bones and let their blood feed back to the universe that which they have stolen."

"A pact then" Toby said extending his right paw, "a task we are driven to because the blood of innocents calls out from the soil. Our lips will be sealed by the blood we spill." Then Kael, Jerex, Shane, Zan, Nils, Rosh, Kraspen, Arvis, Rerick, Dash & Vosh each of them in turn extended their right paw and said, "A pact!" one after the other and finally Maligaant's paw joined them as he snarled out, "A pact between Huntsmen!"
